Mississippi's new expungement law

On April 16, 2019, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signed off on a new law that changes Mississippi's expungement laws dramatically. Before, only a few people qualified to have a felony conviction cleared from their record. Now, just about any first-time nonviolent felony offender can ask a judge to enter an order clearing their record. This is a huge new opportunity for many Mississippians to clear up their past mistakes and get a fresh start.

If you or a loved one have a conviction on their record and would like to talk with us about having it removed, please call us at the number above or reach out to us through our contact form on this website. There is absolutely no fee to determine if you are eligible for expungement.
